Disease-Oriented Collaborative Research Projects

Curriculum Project Description: 

These 4 web-based research projects are intended to be unit research projects focused on the CA state Standards. They are designed to be group projects that introduce the students to real-life applications and are associated with the following topics: cells (cancer), genetics (genetic diseases), microorganisms (microbial infections), and human physiology (diseases of tissues and organs). The projects are presented in various forms such as posters, power-point presentations, comic strips and illustrated books.
