Kathy is currently an Associate Research Engineer in Dow’s Formulation Science group in Core R&D. Her past projects include studying demulsification of water in oil emulsions for Dow Oil, Gas, and Mining, as well as developing automotive glass bonding primers for Dow Automotive. More recently, she has been working with Dow Performance Silicones to study materials for use in many application spaces, including architectural coatings, industrial coatings, and personal care products.
Prior to working at Dow, Kathy received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rowan University and earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware with Professor Eric Furst. After completing her Ph.D in 2015, Kathy accepted her current position with Dow in Midland, MI.
