Jodi Mecca is currently a Senior Research Scientist in Core R&D - Formulation Sciences at Dow. Her key contributions have been focused on collaborating to develop new material solutions in polymeric materials, coatings and composites and implementing high throughput capabilities and methodologies for coatings applications at Dow. Prior to Dow, Jodi Mecca earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry under the advisement of Professor Tim Lodge and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin Madison where she did undergraduate research with Professor Hyuk Yu. Outside of work, Jodi enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, and keeps active with softball, camping and hiking.
