The innovation engine for new materials

Arash Nowbahar

Arash graduated in June 2012 from the City College of New York at CUNY, under their Honors Program. During his time at CUNY, Arash participated in two summer research internships; the first at the University of Chicago's MRSEC where he modeled ice shelf vibrations under Associate Professor Wendy Zhang, and the second at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden investigating turbulent channel flow of a polymeric solution with inertial particles under Professor Luca Brandt. Arash joined Associate Professor Todd Squires's group at UCSB in 2012 to begin his graduate studies.

Research

Arash's research focuses on interfacial microrheology of surfactant monolayers.
