Mingqi is currently a senior research scientist at Semiconductor Technology Business, Dow Electronic Materials, located at Marlborough, MA. Mingqi has worked on various types of lithographic related materials, including photoresists, overcoat, underlayer, and directed self-assembly materials. He is currently leading a materials innovation group, focusing on development of novel resist materials for advanced lithography applications.

Prior to Dow, Mingqi received his B. S. and M.S from Chemical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University (P. R. China).  He obtained Ph. D. degree from Materials Science and Engineering Department of Cornell University, under the supervision of Professor Christopher K. Ober. He joined Dow Chemical Company (Heritage Rohm and Haas) in the year of 2004.
