Please join the MRL in congratulating Professor Cristina Marchetti for winning the 2019 Leo P. Kadanoff Prize of the American Physical Society. This is a new award of the APS so Cristina is setting the bar. Cristina is part of the iSuperSeed MRSEC grant.

 

The citation is: "For original contributions to equilibrium and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, including profound work on equilibrium and driven vortex systems, and fundamental research and leadership in the growing field of active matter."
