The innovation engine for new materials

Project 2: New synthetic methods for advanced polymers

Advanced polymeric materials are at the forefront of tackling emerging global challenges such as environmental stewardship; the production, storage and conservation of energy and water; and the management of carbon dioxide. The development of new synthetic methods is critical for producing innovative polymeric materials and ultimately finding solutions for a sustainable future. Project 2 seeks to develop broad methodology and materials platforms that feed into the concept of ‘function through structural design’.
