Michael Czuczola

Graduate Student Researcher

Biography: Michael was born and raised in the alleged birthplace of Hawaiian pizza - Chatham, Canada. After his third year at The University of Western Ontario he was hired for 16 months as an intern research scientist at ARLANXEO working with bromobutyl rubber. Michael later completed an honors thesis project under Dr. Elizabeth Gillies synthesizing small molecules for the post-polymerization modification of a self-immolative polymer. He obtained a B.Sc. Honors Specialization in Chemistry at Western. Michael is currently pursuing his Ph.D. studies in polymer chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Craig Hawker.

Research: Michael is working on the synthesis of macromolecules.
