The innovation engine for new materials

Stephen Wilson

Associate Professor

Stephen Wilson joined the Materials Department as an Assistant Professor in 2014. He works in the field of experimental condensed matter physics studying electronic phenomena and phase behaviors in correlated electron systems and other quantum materials. Of particular interest are bulk single crystal growth, magnetism, and quantum criticality's role in driving emergent phase behavior. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in 2007.
