This program provides 10-week summer research internships for students from UCSB,  Jackson State University and the University of Texas El Paso.

Science and engineering students from Jackson State University and the University of Texas at El Paso acquire research experience in a variety of exciting fields through these internships. Interns meet regularly to share their experiences and report on their progress.  Jackson State and UTEP students should apply through our FLAM internship website.

UCSB science and engineering students acquire research experience in interdisciplinary materials science at UT El Paso.  UCSB interns will receive meaningful exposure to research methodology and will participate with a cohort of summer interns from colleges and universities around the country.
